These are mountain goats, Alpine ibexes to be exact. They’re here at the Cingino Dam in northern Italy because this wall is rich with salt, a mineral they crave, so they’ve come to lick, while balancing with four feet on the most narrow and steep surface imaginable.

Republican House Speaker John Boehner must hate well-established conservative groups and organizations. He lashed out at them earlier today. This video shows GOP Congressman Paul Ryan (who crafted the so-called budget with Democrat Patty Murray) standing behind the Speaker. Clearly these two prominent Republicans, Boehner and Ryan, aren’t in the business of doing what’s best for the American economy. Both gentlemen are wanting to please Democrat President Obama and are led by his direction.

This shoutfest took place Wednesday December 11th, 2013 during the House Energy Subcommittee on Health. At the end of the video ask yourself, who really wins this type of battle?

A distraught Cuban-American member of Congress confronts John Kerry about the President Obama, Raul Castro handshake. In response, Kerry dances around the answer in an almost beautiful display of “diplomatic speech”. Beautiful… if it wasn’t so obviously pathetic.

President Obama shook the hand of Raul Castro at the Nelson Mandela Memorial in South Africa. Perhaps it was because Obama knew how much love Mandela had for Raul’s brother, Fidel Castro. According to Mandela, Castro helped “train our people and helped us with our struggle” to end apartheid.
