During a news conference in 1995, House Speaker Newt Gingrich suddenly and angrily turned on a female reporter and said, “I find it astonishing that you’d bring up my wife”. The wife he was making reference to was his second wife, Marianne Gingrich, who he was cheating on at the time. Seventeen years later in 2012, Newt suddenly and angrily turned on CNN’s John King and said, “I’m astounded that you’d bring up my ex-wife”.

1995: Gingrich Gave $40 Billion To Mexico
