Shimon Peres Stars In Music Video

Israel President Shimon Peres is 88 years old and just made a new music video. You’ll find that it’s got a good beat and it’s easy to dance too.  Peres may have just scored the hippest songs in the dance clubs:

California Republican Convention Highlight Or Lowlight?

Ron Paul supporters took over the lobby of  the Hyatt Regency in Burlingame, CA last week at the California GOP Convention. GOP attendee Craig Newton, a retired prison guard on full pension, told a reporter from Reason Magazine that he’d like to “punch” a Ron Paul supporter or a Democrat “in the face.”

The Paul supporters took over the main display area at the hotel, and crammed into balconies and stairways. Rick Williams, a West Hollywood candidate for Diane Feinstein’s Senate seat, led chants of “End the Fed” and “Nobody But Paul”. The occupation was quickly dispersed by police and hotel security. Several conventioneers offered verbal support for the police as the Paul supporters were removed.

California Democratic Convention Highlight

California Rep. Maxine Waters delivered a memorable speech to delegates at the California Democratic State Convention last month, calling House Speaker John Boehner and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor “demons”. To a cheering audience, she said, “Don’t ever let me see again in life those Republicans in our hall, on our screens, talking about anything. These are demons.”

A Frog & A Smart Phone

Although we can’t verify that this is a Calaveras Frog, we are impressed with this little guy’s ability to play a video game on a smart phone.

Amgen Tour Stage 4 Preview Video

The Amgen Tour is the middle highlight of the overall “Rope, Ride and Ribbit” campaign. Rope Ride & Ribbit includes the Mother Lode Round-Up Parade and Rodeo, the Amgen Race and the Calaveras County Fair and Jumping Frog Jubilee, all taking place within the first half of May!

Don’t Believe What You See

Technology continues to advance to the point that something that you see on video, actually never took place at all. Look at this quick video where President Obama appears to kick a door wide open after leaving the podium. Make no mistake… this never really happened:

Tony Bennett: Whitney Houston Died So We Must Legalize Drugs

Tony Bennett made a heartfelt plea to his audience, “First it was Michael Jackson, then it was Amy Winehouse and now the magnificent Whitney Houston. I’d like to have every gentlemen and lady in this room commit themselves, to get our Government to legalize drugs.” The drummer seemed to scoff and then suddenly laugh by what Bennett was saying.

Bloody Fight At Courthouse Park

This video was uploaded to YouTube in September of 2011. It indicates that this is a Sonora High “freshman” fight. We have no idea who the two boys are or when this legitimate-looking fight took place. Considering that two school buses drove by (without the drivers doing anything), it likely took place during the school year. Watch for blood and listen to the swearing and encouragment from observers for these two fighters to keep punching:
