Republican U.S. Senator John McCain along with President Obama is wanting to attack Syria. One Syrian woman pleads for McCain not to attack. Her passionate plea is based on her own experience, her knowledge and her family members located in Syria. McCain tells this woman that he has been to Syria as a Senator and then says, “If your telling me that…”. However, if McCain had listened to this female, then he would know that she never said any such thing. This is a clever diplomatic tactic to use in front of a crowd so that McCain can conclude that he completely disagrees with this lady.
